This presentation examines the key factors influencing public trust in child protection services (CPS) in both Romania and Norway. It explores how trust in CPS is contingent upon the extent to which these services align with public expectations regarding their perceived objectives. These objectives encompass principles such as equitable treatment, the paramount interest of the child, and the child's fundamental right to a family.
